I love to write, but lately everything that has been coming out of my fingers (and mind) is not worthy of reading. So, I say, when in a writer’s rut, share some beautiful music.
Just another reason to love Russia. Amongst others:
St Basil’s Cathedral, Moscow. This is #1 on my bucket list. Planning to go for my 30th birthday, but husband is yet to know (my birthday is in the middle of Russian winter, so most likely he will protest).
Nikolai Gogol – my favourite Russian writer, also hilarious
Nabokov – another awesome Russian writer, he too, hilarious
Dostoyevsky wrote Crime and Punishment and I fell in love with a murderer named Raskolnikov and learnt how Russians name their children
My most favourite mug featuring Moscow’s St Basil’s Cathedral
In Perú I started reading Anna Karenina…
…I finished reading it in Cuba and found the DVD rather randomly… naturally I bought it!
And this is Snowball. I’ll let you decipher this one yourself. Hint: Frida Kahlo.
